Prateek Malhotra is a multidisciplinary leader with 15+ years of experience in Investment Banking and Human Resources at firms such as McKinsey & Co., Ivey Business School and Moody’s Analytics. He has led talent and learning functions driving strategic people & change management initiatives. He has deep expertise in identifying and developing talent, setting performance management systems, scaling new business lines and leveraging technology to build proprietary HR systems, Prateek has consistently demonstrated his ability to create impactful solutions.

Prateek started his career in Investment Banking in 2007, and transitioned his career in Human Resources in 2014 where he discovered his true calling - helping people succeed! In 2019, Prateek made another pivotal move by relocating to Canada just before the pandemic. The initial struggles of navigating the uncertainties of the pandemic, the unfamiliarity with the Canadian ecosystem, and the complexities of the employment landscape reinforced his mission to help students and professionals succeed in their professional endeavors, whether by changing career paths or accelerating their careers.

Through Prateek’s career in investment banking, professional services, and in academia working closely with the Ivey’s admissions team he has gained a unique understanding of various sectors, skills, career paths, and their impact. Leveraging his unique blend of academic and talent management experience, he has supported individuals from diverse backgrounds, ranging from wedding photographers and celebrity managers to Armed Forces veterans, in navigating the complexities of the Master’s admission process and achieving post-program career success.
